He was predeceased by: his wife Inez Blake; his parents, Samuel Stuckless and Dinah Stuckless (Ricketts) of Durrell's Arm, Twillingate.; and his siblings, Samuel Jr., Edward, Elliott, Albert (Bert), Harry, Gertie White, Minnie Roberts and Maggie Pelley.
He is survived by: his son Craig; his daughter-in-law Sandra; his grandson Luke; his brother Gus (Ruth); his sister-in-law Daphne; and his niece Marie Hale (Milton).
Donations in Max's memory may be made to the Durrell Museum.
