She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilson Burt and Minnie Burt (Raymond); and her siblings, Ellison and Louise (Arthur). She is survived by: her children, Vaden (Tina), Victor (Marina), Marilyn Burt (Levi), Harriet, Yvonne Arnold (Paul), Enurchas, Judy Wheaton (Reginald), Craig and Trevor (Yvette); her siblings, Nina Lovelace (Warrick), Ambrose (Geraldine), Joy Burt (Cecil), Irene Martin (Edward), Aubrey (Helen), Ross (Jeanette), Glen (Susan), Junior (Lori) and John (Stella); and her husband Raymond Ings.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic there will be a private family viewing followed by a graveside service on Thursday, May 28, 2020.
Donations in Marie's memory may be given to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
