He was predeceased by: his parents, Colburne Burt and Minnie Burt; his brother Ron; and his siblings-in-law, Bill Burt, Clayton Warren, Lew Burt and Maxine Mesher.

He is survived by: his wife Judy; his son Keith (Colleen); his siblings, Wilfred (Blanche), Alwin (Mona), Tom (Christine), Amy Burt, Pansy Hurley (Don) and Patsy Warren; his mother-in-law Dorothy Blake; and his siblings-in-law, Betty Randell (Bob), Verna Burt and Wayne Mesher (Louise). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
