He was predeceased by: his parents, John Andrews and Hilda Andrews; his children, Tammy and John; his grandsons, Nicholas Young and Joshua Andrews; his son-in-law Dean Young; his siblings, Douglas (Olive), Warrick (Mildred), Chesley (Pansy), Eric and Violet; and his brother-in-law Fred Vokey.

He is survived by: his wife Effie; his daughters, Arleen (Bob) and Shirley; his grandchildren, Geena (Jonathan), Jason (Tianna), Tyler (Lauren), Emily and Jane; his great grandchildren, Hailey-Jane, Nixon, Jaxon, William, Sadie, Bentley and Charlotte; his sister Mildred Vokey; and his brother-in-law Calvin Hiscock. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
