With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ernest James Baggs (Twillingate, Newfoundland), who passed away on August 19, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Baggs and Winnifred Baggs; his brother Edwin; his parents-in-law, Lucy and Cyril Dove; and his sisters-in-law, Margaret Baggs, Cecilia Hollett and Ella Dove.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Slade (Jim), Jennifer Hancock (Darren), Kayla Froude (Stanley) and Jessica (Scott Martin); his grandchildren, Janine Ryan (Tommy), Logan, Lydia, Thomas, Sophie and Sebastian; his siblings, Bernice Hibbs (Ford), Enos (Maisie), Louise Parsons (Roy), Larry (Susie) and Arthur (Alice); his girlfriend Minnie; and also, Oswald Dove, Rowena Hull (Raymond), Alman Dove and Goldie Bath (Doug). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
As a thoughtful expression of care and concern the family would like those visiting the funeral home and attending the funeral to please wear a mask.
