We are sad to announce that on November 10, 2023, at the age of 73, Bruce Gordon Hamlyn (Twillingate, Newfoundland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Hamlyn and Blanche Hamlyn; his parents-in-law, Murdock and Rowena Jenkins; his siblings, Joyce Gillard and Roy Weir (Frances); and his sisters-in-law, Jane Ball and Christine Jenkins.

He is survived by: his wife Janesta; his son Wade (Kathy); his stepson Jason (Vanessa); his sister Doris Mercer (Reginald); his siblings-in-law, Stewart Gillard, Terry Jenkins (Dolly), Randy Oechsle (Patty), Jonathan Oechsle, Melinda Andrews (Willie), Lorraine LeDrew and Doreen Jenkins; and his pet Rocky. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Donation in Bruce's honor may be given to help with funeral expenses; payment can be made directly to the funeral home.
