She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Guy and Laura Guy of Twillingate; her son Cyril Young; and her husband Elmore Brenton. She is survived by: her siblings, William (Annie), Jessie (Stewart), Sadie (Elmo), Roland and Charles; her sister-in-law Ina Sharpe; her children, Wilfred (Ada), Joan (Larry), Junior (Joanne) and Laura (Walter); her stepdaughter Effie (Gary); her grandchildren, Suzanne (Randy), Andy (Susan), Dawn (Chris), Jason (Courtney), Trevor (Mandy) and Justin; her brothers, Robert (Cathy) and Alfred; her sisters-in-law, Ruby Sharpe, Muriel Sharpe, Una Dove and Verbena Dorey; and her stepchildren, Nataline, Rick, Gary, Charlie and Verbena. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.

In light of the current Covid-19 pandemic, the health and safety of our families and our community continues to be our highest priority.
