He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Majors Brenda Bungay (Ross), Megan Wirtz (William), Douglas Eastman, Benjamin Eastman and Garfield Young (Heidi); his grandchildren, Captains Sheldon Bungay (Ashley), Jayden, Hannah and Alayna; his great grandchildren, Alexis and Maxwell; his sisters, Violet Pardy and Melita Higgins (John); and his siblings-in-law, Martin Hamlyn (Nina), Roland Hamlyn (Norma) and Bernice Young (Gary). He is also survived by extended family and friends.
