He was predeceased by: his former wife Amelia; his son Darryll; his siblings, Verna, Lola (Mun), Jeremiah (Alma), Anita and Elaine; and his brothers-in-law, Billy and Edward.

He is survived by: his children, Dwayne, Dean (Michelle) and Trevor (Shawna); his daughter-in-law Lisa; his grandchildren, Shawn (Alexis), Richard, Nicholas, Taylor, Wendy (Sean), Robyn (Matthew), Amy and Andrew; his great grandchildren, Liam of Lilah and Sarica; his siblings, Edward (Ellen), Golda, Yvonne (Peter), Rosie, Scott (Sharon), Dermot (Debbie), Brenda (Norman), Robert (Judy) and Alex; and his sister-in-law Judy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
