It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Coady Critch of Trout River, Newfoundland, who passed away on October 28, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Simoen Critch (Myra Crocker) and Gilbert Crocker. He is survived by: his wife Elzina Peggy Critch; his children, Bradley Critch, Colin Critch, Norma Critch (Stewart Crocker) and Lorraine Critch; his grandsons, Lyndon Critch and Antonio Critch; his pet Smokey; his siblings, Colleen Critch, Wilfred Crocker (Priscilla) and Gilbert Crocker (Sandra); his parents-in-law, Obediah Clarence Barnes and Ida Maxine Barnes; and his siblings, Charlie Critch and Melissa Crocker. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law and a large circle of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
