He was predeceased by: his wife Ida Maxine Barnes; his parents, Lucy and Wilson; his siblings, Toss, Elsie, Phyllis (Bussy), Valsie, Chesley (Marian), Wesley and John (Eliza); his parent-in-law Emma Crocker; his siblings-in-law, Elva, Greta, Myra, Elizabeth, Geraldine, Victor, Royburn and Gilbert; and also Grant Crocker.

He is survived by: his children, Peggy (Melvin), Critch, Allister (Annie), Roddie (Maude) and Alfred (Jacqueline); his grandchildren, Bradley, Colin, Norma, Lorraine, Marsha (Floyd), Kirston (Justin), Robin (Brent), Damien (Angela), Surina (Ernie) and Cheryl (Chris); his great grandchildren, Lyndon, Antinio, Cody, Joey, Brittany, Chantel, Nathan, Mecerri, Logan, Lucy, Nikolas and Ryder; his great great grandchildren, Morgan, Owen, McKayla, Sophia and Jaymz; and his brothers-in-law, Ronald (Minnie), Winston (Deloris), Fred, Ernie, Wilfred (Priscilla) and Noble. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives extended family and friends.
