He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Pennell and Annie Pennell; his brothers, Desmond and David; his sister-in-law Lorraine Pennell; his aunt Norah Molloy; and his cousin Mary (Dermot Finlay).
He is survived by: his siblings, Sheila Waddleton (Clarence), Ed (Erin), Terry, Mary Abelseth (Dave), Anne Marie Coffey (Peter) and Paul; and his friends, Virginia Pennell and Mary Smith. He is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews, 13 great nieces and nephews, and many cousins.
