Mary Josephine Finlay Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Josephine Finlay of Trepassey, Newfoundland, who passed away on December 31, 2020 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Dermot Finlay; her parents, Alonzo and Nell Pennell (Trepassey); her brother Michael Hicks (Beatrice); her children, Sheila and Junior; her parents-in-law, Leo and Mary Finlay; her children, Marlene (Tom Sutton), Yvonne, Bill (Tara), Dan (Sue), Dale (Pam), Kelly and Ann (Aaron Johnson); her grandchildren, Joey (Lorraine), Terry (Stephanie), Daniel (Jill), Grady, Sarah, Taylor, Kris and Kendyl; her great grandchildren, Breanna, Jack, Hank, Maddie and Markus; and her sister-in-law Betty (Gerald Hewitt). She was also cherished by Many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
