He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Bennett and Martha Bennett (McCue); his parents-in-law, Albert and Anastasia Molloy (Ryan); his brothers, Stan, John, Tony, Patrick and Vince; his siblings-in-law, Brenda, Marie and Leo; and his friend Pad O'Brien.

He is survived by: his wife Anne Bennett (Molloy); his children, Barry (Catherine) and Trina (Neal); his grandchildren, Abby, Ben, Gracie and Lauren; his siblings, Tom (Rose Mary), Irene, Bob (Philomena), Don, Ambrose, Mike and Agnes (Art); his parents-in-law, Belle, Bernice, Anne Marie, Shirley, Bertha, Donna, Valerie and Garry; and his friend Tom Mackey. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and many friends.
