He was predeceased by: his parents, Emma Kelly and Robert Kelly; his parents-in-law, Martin and Margaret Hickey; his siblings, Doris (Andy Jamieson), Jean (Bruce Perry), Nancy (John Walsh) and Graham; his siblings-in-law, Eileen McKay, Anne Barton, Tom Hickey and Jeffrey Barton; and his nephew Peter.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine; his children, Paula, Ann (Blaine) and David (Jill); his grandchildren, Flynn, John, Will, Sam, Max and Kate; and his siblings-in-law, Joan Kelly (Graham), Mary Dunne (John), Maureen Rumbolt (Gary), Mike (Jenny), Jack (Faye), Dave (Lorraine), Brian (Joan), Bert (Brenda) and Eddie McKay. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and special friends.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy donations may be made to The Canadian Mental Health Association – Newfoundland and Labrador or The Alzheimer Society of Newfoundland and Labrador.
