He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Abbott and Elizabeth Abbott; his siblings, Robert, Dave, Albert, Ken and Blanche Tucker; his wife Kay; and his children, Mark (Allison), Jonathan (Tania) and Jill (Michael Duke).
He is survived by: his granddaughters, Avery, Sadie Abbott, Emily and Samantha Duke; his sister Patsy (Gary Fifield); and his close friends, Bernice Brenton, Terry Dodd, Ed, Diane Wade, Mike, Joan Grant and Judy Moakler.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Caul's Funeral Home (84 Lemarchant Rd, St. John's, NL A1C2G8). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Caul's Chapel (84 Lemarchant Rd, St. John's, NL A1C2G8).
