He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike Stevenson and Kathleen Stevenson; his wife Susanne (Matthews); and his children, Samantha and Matthew.
He is survived by: his in-laws, Lloyd, Jean Matthews, Steve, Stephanie Matthews, Geoff Matthews, Sue Good, Elizabeth, Danny Williams, Heather and Charlie Poisson; his nieces and nephews, Rayelle, Olivia, Alex, Emma, Sam, Danielle, Megan, Tori, Ezekiel and Aaron; his brother Robert (British Columbia); and his pet Portia.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Caul's Funeral Home (84 Lemarchant Rd, St. John's, NL A1C2G8). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bethesda Pentecostal Church (1 Escasoni Pl, St. John's, NL A1A0K7).
In lieu of flowers, donations are gratefully accepted to the REAL Program to honour Mike's lifelong commitment to mentoring under financially challenged children in athletics.
