He was predeceased by: his grandson Jason Dobbin; his parents, Cyril Dobbin and Catherine "Kitty" Dobbin; his siblings, Catherine Whelan (Cyril), Cyril (Barbara) and Elizabeth "Betty" Penney; his parents-in-law, Albert and Jennie Loveys; his siblings-in-law, Alwyn (Mary), Daphne Noseworthy (Jack) and Robert (Joan); his wife Cynthia "Cindy" Dobbin; his children, Bert (Paula), DeAnne Efford (Glenn), Rodney (Mary Snow) and Denise Clark (Dana); his grandchildren, Cortney (Curtis), Katelyn (Dustin), Lindsey (Adam), Lauren (Fred), Matthew (Katie) and Christopher; and his great grandchildren, Kaia, Zoey, Jayden and Casey.
He is survived by: his brother Shaun (Loretta); and his brother-in-law Don Penney. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Caul's Funeral Home (84 Lemarchant Rd, St. John's, NL A1C2G8). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
