Josephine Marie was predeceased by: husband William "Bill"; close friend Cyril Ryan; son John; parents, Michael Parsons and Gertrude Parsons; parents-in-law, Michael and Elizabeth Martin; siblings, Michael (Frances), Richard, Mary Wade (Patrick), Martin (Annie), Norman (Jane), Mildred McDonald (Gerald), Leo and Bernadette; sister-in-law Mary Everson (Bern); and friend Tony (Jackie).
Josephine Marie is survived by: children, Gary (Kelly Bailey), Mike (Barb), Michelle (Chris) and Williamina (Robert Lacey); grandchildren, Alicia Scott (Justin), Ashley (Matthew House), Billy (Ashley), Stacey Sharpe (Matthew), Ryne (Stephanie), Mackenzie and Perry; great grandchildren, Sophie, Garrett, Jonathan, Aria, Leon, Felix and James; siblings, Gen Fleming (late Patrick), Donnie McGrath (Gerard) and John (late Theresa); friends, Aiden Sullivan, Labrador, Helen (late Dominic), Mike (Eileen), Alice Holmes (Bob), Frank (Sandra), Tammy and Nick (Lynn); close friends, Phyllis, Pat Skinner, Lena, Nino Mascarin, Sandra, Peter Bassan, Evelyn McCarthy and Margo Legge; and also, Pauline Martin, Donna Garland and Perry Cahill.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Caul's Funeral Home (1118 Torbay Rd, Torbay, NL A1K 1A4). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Church (2 Convent Ln, Torbay, NL A1K1K7). The inurnment will be held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at the St. Michael's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in mom's memory to Mothers Against Drunk Driving (madd) or Torbay Volunteer Fire Department.
