He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edwards and Mary Connors (Bloss); his siblings, Mona (Earl McDougal), Ray, Jim (Joan), Dell and Anne; his nephew Paul Edwards; and his in-laws, Sarah Power (Baker), Dan Corbett, Jack Power, Alice (Cyril Mallard), Ed Power and Mike Power (Annie).

He is survived by: his wife Mary (Power); his children, Mary Beth Ezekiel (Darrell) and James (Cathi Allison); his great grandchildren, Justin (Vickie), Keegan (Kayla), Devin, Sydney and Sarah (Ryan); his brothers, Ernest (Cecelia) and Doug (Stella); and his in-laws, Howard Kearney, Richard Loder, Kathleen Power, Patricia Corbett and Arlene Power. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and a large circle of friends.
