She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald Murphy; her parents, Melinda Steele and William Steele; and her siblings, Linda Fagan (Bas), Sandra Fagan (Pat) and William Steele.
She is survived by: her children, Jacqueline Beard (John), Gerald Murphy (Devon) and Jennifer Lahey (Michael); her grandchildren, Jacob (Kendall), Shaelynn (Christian), Travis (Erin), Kaitlin, Emma and Chloe; her great grandchildren, Jayden, Evelynn and Madison; her siblings, Daphne (Charlie), Karen (Walter), Lorraine (Harry), Fred (Patsy), Chris (Judy) and Dave (Marge); and her sister-in-law Cedie.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Caul's Funeral Home (84 Lemarchant Rd, St. John's, NL A1C2G8). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Basilica of St. John the Baptist (200 Military Rd, St. John's, NL A1C5G9).
