With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edward Patrick Melee (Torbay, Newfoundland), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 2, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father John; his brothers, Tom, Bill, Bob and Frank; and his sister-in-law Margie.
He is survived by: his brother John (Florence); his sisters-in-law, Marie and Millie; his nieces and nephews, Tina Morgan (Rod), Amelia Fitzgerald (Glenn), Regina Breen (Rick), Rose Penney (Todd), Linda (Todd), Michelle Heath (Craig), Billy (Sandy), Gary (Deanne) and Steve (Donna); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Glenn Jr., Jesse, Melyssa (Tahlia), Brittany, Rodney and Billy Jr. (Jessica); and also Rod Morgan.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Caul's Chapel (84 Lemarchant Rd, St. John's, NL A1C2G8). A reception will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Caul's Funeral Home (84 Lemarchant Rd, St. John's, NL A1C2G8). The inurnment will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at the Mount Carmel Cemetery.
