Doreen Shute Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Doreen Shute (Torbay, Newfoundland), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 1, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Leo Shute; her son Leo Shute Jr. (Bally); her parents, Ruby Sampson and Joseph Sampson; her siblings, Lil, Billy and Joe (Juni); her daughter Jackie Clancey (Tom); her grandchildren, Sheena Clancey (Mike), Shania Clancey (Ryan), David Hussey, Devon and Dawson Shute; her great grandchildren, Lucas, Nathan, Brayden and Kasey; her siblings, Bet, Maude, Una, Wally and Reggie; and her niece Sandra Sampson. She was also cherished by her daughter and grandchildren, she was more than a mother and grandmother.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Caul's Funeral Home (84 Lemarchant Rd, St. John's, NL A1C2G8). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Caul's Chapel (84 Lemarchant Rd, St. John's, NL A1C2G8).
