He is survived by: his wife Bernadette; his children, Michelle and Jason (Krista); his grandchildren, Breonnah (Ryan), Lily, Noah, Zachery and Fayth; his godchildren, Renee and Stephen; and his siblings, Ronnie (Joan), David (Mary-Lou), Patricia, Mona and Dorothy.

“Heartfelt sympathies for your loss Bernadette, Michelle, Jason and all the family. Jimmy was a great uncle, he took me as a kid for bike rides to fort Amherst even though I had my foot in his spokes half the way (yes I was a hand full & a bit to take). He would say that's it, he would never take me again, but by the next week or two he would forgive me and we do it all over again. We wouldn't be a 100 feet and I'll have my foot back touching his spokes. I will never forget him. Uncle Jimmy”
