He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bursey (Jack) and Alice Bursey; and his brothers, Wayne Thomas and Paul Bursey. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia; his children, Jaclyn (Ross), Paul (Christina) and Daniel (Stephanie); and his grandchildren, Ben and Jade.
In lieu of flowers, donations can made to the Parkinson's Society of Newfoundland and Labrador.
