Augustus Ivey Obituary

We bid farewell to Augustus Ivey (Torbay, Newfoundland), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 29, 2024 at the age of 88. Augustus touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Jane and Mary Jane; and his siblings, Jim (Violet), Bill (Theresa), Gordon (Lorraine), Marjorie Rice (Leo), Josephine Hutchings (Jerry) and Mary Whitman Theresa (Gerry).

He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Madonna Ivey (Rossiter); his wife Anne Sarah; his sons, Edward (Carolann) and Gus (Valerie); his cousin Jim Wheeler; his siblings, Ed, Guy, Cecil (Alice) and Frances (late Jim Kennedy); his grandchildren, David, Guy, Allan, Amanda, Natalie Justin (Smith) and Westley; his stepgrandsons, Weston and Patrick Butler; and his siblings-in-law, Doug Whiteway (Gail) and Hilda King (Mark).

Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Caul's Funeral Home. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Caul's Chapel. The inurnment was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Salvation Army Cemetery (84-88 Blackmarsh Rd, St. John's, NL A1E1S8).
