He was predeceased by: his parents, Simeon Bemister and Pearl Bemister; his siblings, Elmore, Clarence, Marie and Florence; and his sisters-in-law, Irene and Hazel.

He is survived by: his children, Gregory (Joscelyne), Roger (Victoria) and Crystal (Travis); his grandchildren, Abigail, Kylie, Logan, Nathan, Katelynn, Emma and Harrison; and his siblings, Ronald (Emily), Eldon (Iona), Wilbert (Jill), Terry (Carol), Maisie (Elwood), Beulah (Mark), Maunda (Dave) and Goldie (Andy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
