She was predeceased by: her significant other David "Jon" Collins; her grandparents, Richard Vincent and Sheila Vincent; her mother Cynthia Vincent; her niece Alyssa Power; and the father of her children Gordon Whalen.

She is survived by: her children, Alexandra Whalen, Ashton Whalen and Aaden Duff; her stepfather Pierce Head; her grandchildren, Amira Whalen, Kinsley Whalen and Bentley Hann; her siblings, Johnny and Kayla Duff; and her nieces and nephews, Payton Pender, Cynthia Duff, Logan Duff and Parker Pender.

In Lieu of flowers, donations in Ashley's memory may be made to the AIDS Society of NL.
