We bid farewell to Anne Baird (Torbay, Newfoundland), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 6, 2025 at the age of 88. Anne touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband John Baird; her parents, Mary McCafferty Harkin and Patrick Harkin; her sister Mary Bridget (Mamie); and her son-in-law Randy Pelletier.
She is survived by: her daughters, Moira (Kevin Penney), Maeve and Aileen (Ron Fraboni); her cousin Margaret "Madge" Falconer (Michael); her siblings, Patrick "Packie" Harkin (late Mary), Kathleen Sweeney (late Neil), Madge Toye (Patsy) and John Harkin (Rosaleen); and her close friend Bernie Hanrahan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Caul's Funeral Home. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Caul's Chapel, LeMarchant Road.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA or a local food bank of one's choice.
