Allan John Codner Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Allan John Codner (Torbay, Newfoundland), who passed away on April 5, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Allan Codner and Fannie Codner; and his siblings, Jennie, Ethel (Edward), Walter, Charles (Gladys), Harvey (Genevieve) and Nathaniel.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Joan Codner of Portugal Cove; his niece Diane Kavanagh; and his close friends, Leo Murphy, Tom Ryan, Willie Roche and Pat Kavanagh.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Caul's Chapel (1118 Torbay Rd, Torbay, NL A1K 1A4). The inurnment will be held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at the St. Nicholas Anglican Cemetery (10 St Nicholas Ln, Torbay, NL A1K1B3).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Al's memory can be made to the St. Nicholas Church and Cemetery Fund, or to Beagle Paws.
