Alice Kavanagh Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alice Kavanagh (Torbay, Newfoundland), who passed away on February 8, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Sinnott and Gertrude Glynn; her husband Frederick "Mick" Kavanagh; her siblings, William "Billy" (Mary Hennessey), Thomas "Tommy" (late Mary Noftall), Michael "Mikey" (late Madeline Clarke), Sheila and Joan (late Leo Mackey); her brothers-in-law, George Kavanagh (late Margaret Cole) and Walter Neugebauer; and her children, Jacqueline (Rod Edgecombe), Susanne (Lez Snow), Fred (Jacqueline Oullette), John (Debbie Purcell) and Paul (Wendy Martin).
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Michelle (Stephen), Matthew (Kate), Abigale (Michael), Jonathon, Lauren, Jordan (Colleen), Sean (Megan) and Keira; her sisters-in-law, Mary Sinnott (Hennessey) and Agnes Kavanagh; and her close friends, Joan Lewis and Father Jeff Kolonel.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Caul's Funeral Home (84 Lemarchant Rd, St. John's, NL A1C2G8). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Caul's Chapel (84 Lemarchant Rd, St. John's, NL A1C2G8).
