It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine Carter of Topsail, Newfoundland, born in Hillview, Newfoundland, who passed away on April 13, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Elaine may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She is survived by: her husband John Carter of Topsail; her sons, Paul (Brenda) and Rod (Debbie); her grandchildren, David, Andrew and Abigail; and her siblings, Clara Perchard, Lewis Stoyles (Louise) and Alister Stoyles.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hickey's Funeral Home (570 Conception Bay Hwy, Conception Bay South, NL A1X 7P8). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint John (20 Rectory Rd, Conception Bay South, NL A1W5C6). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at the same location.
