He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex and Isabelle; and his siblings, Florence, Marjorie, William, Alex and Kevin.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie; his children, Anne (Bob), Judi (Rene), Janet (Jim), Basil (Joyce) and Gary (Bev); his grandchildren, Janine, Jamie (Nina), Jodi, Angela (Junior), Chris (Kerri), Jenny, Michael, Basil, Amy, Kim, Robyn (Ryan) and Melissa (Matt); and his great grandchildren, Nia, Jordan, Myles, Jamieson, Natalie, John-Patrick, Martin and Arianna.
