He was predeceased by: his son Kyle Hickey; his parents, William Hickey and Julia Hickey; his sisters, Zita Byrd (George), Mildred Byrd (Albert) and Barb McCarthy (Bill); his cousin Rob Hackett; his parents-in-law, Bob and Vera Kearley; and his brother-in-law Phil Kearley.
He is survived by: his wife Pamela; his sons, Billy Hickey (Dena) of Stephenville and Brandon Hickey (Miranda) of Clarenville; his grandchildren, Kaylee, Alex, Emerson and Maddox; his siblings, Liz Pierce (Fred) of Fortune, Sheila Smith (Bernard) of Fortune and Cyril Hickey (Trudy); and his sisters-in-law, Suzanne Lace (Reg) of Brooks, AB, Donna Hynes (Jeff) of Paradise and Mary Kearley of Mount Pearl.
