Gertrude (Gertie) Green Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gertrude (Gertie) Green of Sunnyside, Newfoundland, who passed away on September 29, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husbands, Archibald Curtis and Roland Green; her parents, Rhoda Smith and Thomas Smith; and her siblings, Virtue Drover, Jean Avery (Eldred), Robert Smith and Melvin Smith.

She is survived by: her children, Raymond Curtis (Ferne), Albert Curtis (Linda) and Joy Beck (Scott); her sister Lorraine Baker; her siblings-in-law, Jake Drover, Clayton Green (Effie), Emma Pardy and Phyllis Crews (George); her grandchildren, Paula (Rick), Melanie (Duane), Angie (Brad), Aaron, Tim, Sean, Connie, Kelly, Colleen, Megan (Mark), Rodney and Philip; and her great grandchildren, Amber, Joel, Larry, Roy, Haley, Jordyn, Austin, Aurora, Nelson, Emma, Gabe, Mackenzie and MacCaulie. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.

In loving memory donations are greatly accepted to St. Andrews Anglican Chruch, Sunnyside or the Alzheimer Society.
