It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gertrude (Newell) Maloney (Summerville, Newfoundland), who passed away on July 19, 2018, at the age of 105, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John; and her siblings, Dominic, Margaret, Edward, Bill and Mary.
She is survived by: her children, Nora Hamilton (John), Mary Greene (late Bob) and Gerard; her daughter-in-law Mary Lou of Redcliff, B. B; her grandchildren, Gerald, David, Diane (Chris), Paul Hamilton, Wade Maloney (Roxanne), Renee Sparks (Todd) and Greg Greene; her great grandchildren, Abigal, Grace, Ben, Dawson, Teya, Dustin and Dylan; and her brother Albert Newell of Summerville.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 1pm followed by inurnment at the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Open Hall, B.B. Donations in Gertrude's memory may be made to the Sacred Heart Church, Open Hall, B.B.
