It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Florence Humby of Summerville, Newfoundland, who passed away on August 15, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Jim; her siblings, Gerald, Lindo, Harold and Jean (Gill); and her brother-in-law Albion Humby.
She is survived by: her daughter Donna (Dennis Smith); her sisters, Effie Laite, Dot Patey and Bernice (Gary Bailey); her sisters-in-law, Muriel Reid, Audrey Reid and Jenny Humby; and her close friend Joyce Frye. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Donations are greatfully accepted in her memory for the Feral Felines Rescue, Lethbridge.
