Hector Rideout Obituary

In loving memory of Hector Rideout (Summerford, Newfoundland), who departed this world on March 5, 2025 at the age of 86. Hector leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Daisy Rideout; his parents-in-law, Flora and Andrew Jennings; his sisters, Clementine and Grace; his grandson Lawrence Rideout; and his brothers-in-law, Gerald and Allan Jennings.

He is survived by: his father Redvers Rideout; his wife Ada; his sons, Craig and Jamie; his grandsons, Steven and Cody (Lydia); his great grandchildren, Ellie and Emerson; and his siblings-in-law, Leslie (Nellie), Herman (Joan), Fred (Alayne), Thelma and Gwen.

Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM.

Donations in Hector's memory may be given to the Salvation Army Cemetery Fund, Moreton's Hr., NL.
