She was predeceased by: her parents, Ephriam Stryde and Joyce Stryde; her siblings, Oswald Stryde and Marion Stryde; her siblings-in-law, Vivian Hawkins (Carl), Jean Hawkins (Maxwell), Vincent Wheeler, David Ings and Willis Rideout; and her nephew Ross Hawkins.
She is survived by: her husband William; her son Danny; her sisters, Viola Wheeler, Doris Rideout and Sheila Ings; her brother-in-law Paul Griffiths; and her nieces and nephews, Brenda (Clyde), Trudy (Terry), Diane (Jim), Bonnie (John), Rhonda-Lee (Eugene), Rosalie (Paul), Terry (Linda), Tony (Debbie), Rick (Nola), Brian (Roxanne), Kenny (Louise), Christopher (Trina) and Steven (Nadine).
Donations in Evelyn's memory may be given to the New World Island East Central United Church, Newville, NL.
