He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Edith; his stepmother Louisa; and his siblings, Olive, Alfreda, Dora, Marjorie, Stewart, Wilfred and Kenneth.
He is survived by: his brother Norman (Emma); and his sister-in-law Blanche.
