He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine "Kay" Downey and Raymond "Ray" Downey; and his sister Patricia Downey-Patterson. He is survived by: his siblings, Peggy Downey (Tom Bennett), Donna Morris (David), Cathy Lee (Pat), Reggie (Kathy Hawkins), Ricky (Veronica Collins), Timmy, James (Delphina Paul), Justin and Patrick (Leanor Bennett). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
