Melinda Rachel Watkins Obituary

The memory of Melinda Rachel Watkins (Stephenville, Newfoundland), who passed away on March 1, 2025 at the age of 98, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her husband Andrew; her son-in-law Richard Marche; her parents, Arthur Osmond and Ruth Osmond; her brothers, Edgar Osmond (Jessie), David Osmond (Doris), Herb Osmond (Valda), Nelson Osmond and Ambrose Osmond (Mary); her parents-in-law, Jessie and James Watkins; and her siblings-in-law, Marie Regular (Dorman) and Wallace Watkins.

She is survived by: her children, Arthur Watkins (Leita), David Watkins (Margaret) and Bonita Watkins-Marche; her grandchildren, Brittany Hamlyn (Jeremy), Ashley Watkins (Cole Sheppard), Christopher Osmond and Joshua Noseworthy; her great grandchild Willis Hamlyn; her siblings, Garfield Osmond (Daphne) and Betty Watkins; and her sisters-in-law, Dulcie Budgell and Maxine Watkins. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Revival Ministries Pentecostal Church. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
