Margaret Shears Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Shears (Stephenville, Newfoundland), who passed away on March 28, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Simon Shears; her parents, Royal Madore and Ettie Madore; her daughter Winona; her granddaughter Jackie; her stepdaughter Genevieve; and her siblings, Leon, Austin, Fred, Warren, Churchill, Irene, Marina and Rose.

She is survived by: her significant other Austin Sheppard; her children, Joseph (Sylvia) and Leanda; her grandchildren, Emily, Derrick, Stuart, Damian and Samantha; her great grandchildren, Cyndel, Myles and Malachi; her stepchildren, Carl, Edward, Melvin, Rhonda and Glenda; and her siblings, Aubrey, Calvin, Bell, Ethel, Geraldine and Marley. She is also survived by nephews, nieces and friends.

As expressions of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Cancer Society.
