He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Hunt and Peter Hunt; his son Kevin; his granddaughter Annabelle; and his parents-in-law, Pierce Burton and Dolly Burton.
He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Stephen Hunt, Judy Hull (Andrew), John Boland (Krystal) and Joni Boland (Quincy); his grandchildren, Alisha, Sarah, Sophie and Leland; his siblings, James (Roseann), Dianne Murphy (Charlie) and Louise Hunt; his brothers-in-law, Larry, Terry (Nichole), Sonny (Ann), Richard (Pam), Keith (Veronica), Dwayne (Charlie) and Ardie (Joanne); and his pet Luna. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Russells Funeral Home (57 Prince Rupert Dr, Stephenville, NL A2N2Z5). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Russell's Funeral Home Chapel (57 Prince Rupert Dr, Stephenville, NL A2N2Z5).
