He was predeceased by: his son Scott; his siblings, Jerry (Sharon), John, Dan, Marg (Jim), Vera (Dick) and Phyllis; and his brother-in-law Jack.

He is survived by: his wife Monica; his children, Paul (Dana), Flo (Larry) and Elaine (Elaine); his grandchildren, Jennifer (Richard), Nicole, Cameron and Jordan (Kim); his great grandchildren, Riley and Claire; his siblings, James (Bernice), Peter (Pat), Annie and Florence; and his sister-in-law Geraldine. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.

As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations in Edward's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
