With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edna Butler (Stephenville, Newfoundland), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 15, 2025 at the age of 78. She was predeceased by: her son Corey; her parents, Fred Childs and Julia Childs; and her in-laws, Mike and Esther Butler.
She is survived by: her husband Peter Buter; her children, Stephen (Patricia), Fred (Christina), Pamela, Glenda (Melvin), Cora (Edward) and Clifton (Sabrina); and her siblings, Nat Childs, Curtis Childs, Richard Childs and Stella Ward. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren: 42 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Russells Funeral Home (57 Prince Rupert Dr, Stephenville, NL A2N2Z5).
