Edith Samms Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edith Samms (Stephenville, Newfoundland), who passed away on January 30, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Henry Samms; her son Robert Martin; her sister Gertrude; and her parents, Fanny Francais and Lloyd Dyke.

She is survived by: her children, Herbert Martin (Justine), Frederick Donald Martin, Edie Miller (Shayne) and Marlene Samms (Cornelius); her grandchildren, Herbie, Pierre, Frankie, Caius, Reanna, Corey, Ashley and Cheyenne; her great grandchildren, Jesse, Triston, Tyler, Noah, Blaze, Olivia, Charlie Rose, William and Thomas; and her siblings, Bram, Sam, Mike, Ford, Art, Berrick, Lloyd, Timothy, Nelson, Cynthia, Morreen, Freda, Geraldine, Nadine, Rose, Debbie and Mary. She is also survived by extended family and friends.
