She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard "Dick" Fitzpatrick and Nora Fitzpatrick; her brother Richard Fitzpatrick Jr. (Ricky); and her in-laws, Hugh (Hughie) and Lorraine Gale.

She is survived by: her husband Daniel "Sonny" Wheeler; her children, Kirk and Samantha Fitzpatrick; her grandson Wesley Blanchard; and her siblings, Alice (Garfield), Gary (Patsy), Dinah (Jerry), Phyllis (Jim), John (Ann) and Eddy. She is also survived by extended family and many friends.

As expressions of sympathy donations in Debbie's memory may be made to the Janeway Children's Hospital.
