He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Leonora; his son Ricky; his wife Evelyn Retieffe; and his siblings, Johnny, Phonse, Eli, Joseph, Pauline, Agnes, Reba and Florence.
He is survived by: his children, Roderick (Sheila), Randy (Heather), Brian and Priscilla (William); his grandchildren, Roderick, Katherine, Brian, Michael, Ben and Alvin; and his great grandchildren, Mya, Jamie Roderick, Cayden, Nathan, Lillian and Roman. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
