Aiden Mahoney Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 28, 2020, at the age of 75, Aiden Mahoney (Stephenville, Newfoundland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Mahoney and Ellen Mahoney; and his siblings, Lawrence Mahoney, Rosalyn Barker and Paulette Stringer.

He is survived by: his wife Ivy; his children, Bernadine Borden (Steve) of Corner Brook and Brent Mahoney (Jody Williams) of Corner Brook; his grandchildren, Ryder, Tenley Borden, Aiden and Alex Williams-Mahoney; his siblings, Daniel Mahoney (Mildred) of Harbour Breton, Linda Moon (late John) of Cookeville, TN, Helen Skinner (Elijah) of Isle, Morts and Salome Smith (Jason) of Pools Cove; and his parents-in-law, Barbara Mahoney, Peggy Fifield (Roger), Larry Thornhill (Joanne), Leo Thornhill (Christable), Rick Thornhill (Brenda), Alvina Meade (Merlin) and Derek Thornhill (Helena). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Due to the COVID-19 health restrictions, there will be no visitation or service at this time, to be announced at a later date.

As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations can be made to either Southwest Coast SPCA or Nature Conservancy of Canada, both of which were special to him.
